Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de séparateur permettant d'enlever un matériau pouvant être aimanté d'un fluide dans lequel ledit matériau est en suspension, lequel comprend un premier aimant annulaire (28), un second aimant (30) situé à la limite dudit premier aimant et une paire de plaques métalliques (32), chacun desdits aimants comportant des faces de polarité magnétique opposée et chacune desdites plaques étant placées en butée avec l'une respective desdites faces de chaque aimant. Chacune desdites plaques comporte une pluralité de moyens de passage (40, 47, 50) permettant le passage de fluide depuis un côté de la plaque jusqu'à l'autre, ainsi qu'une pluralité de protubérances (42, 44, 46, 48) définissant des pièces polaires magnétiques situées de manière contiguë aux moyens de passage, les pièces polaires magnétiques de l'une des plaques étant alignées avec celles de l'autre des plaques et formant des zones d'attraction magnétique s'étendant axialement vers lesquelles est attiré un matériau magnétique traversant les moyens de passage adjacents.
