Abstract

L'invention concerne une barrière à utiliser dans un espace entre des éléments de structure pour empêcher la propagation du feu. La barrière comprend un élément de barrière qui est moulé dans un matériau de revêtement pour prendre la forme de la face inférieure des éléments de structure, y compris n'importe quel matériau de couverture, pour ainsi former un élément d'étanchéité entre les éléments de structure. L'invention est utilisée dans un système coupe-feu de séparation de toit entre un toit et le mur mitoyen d'un bâtiment pour empêcher la propagation des feux au-delà de l'espace au niveau de la jonction d'un toit. L'élément de séparation coupe-feu comprend un moyen de marquage monté au-dessus du mur mitoyen séparant deux zones du bâtiment, le moyen de marquage recevant l'élément de séparation qui s'étend vers le haut pour abouter au toit.
