Abstract

An electronic display device mounting and stowage apparatus is provided which is releasably mountable in the operating compartment of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a containment member for securing the electronic display device, a mounting member for securing the apparatus to a preselected portion of the vehicle, for example, a seat assembly, and a positioning mechanism and locking lever to position the electronic display device in either a secure stowed position or in a secure viewable position during operation of the vehicle.
