Abstract

Disclosed is an injection molding apparatus (10) for producing an optical component with high yield, which comprises a fixed platen (11) on both upper and lower sides of which are arranged a heater (18) and a temperature sensor (19), and a control unit (20) connected with the heaters (18) and the temperature sensors (19). In this injection molding apparatus (10), the control unit (20) independently controls the heating amounts of the heaters (18) based on the temperatures measured by the temperature sensors (19) so that the temperature of the fixed platen (11) is kept within an appropriate temperature range.
