Abstract

A screen printing method and a screen printing plate in which deformation of the screen printing plate is anticipated and adjusted easily, the screen printing plate can be corrected efficiently and effectively, and high print precision can be attained. Dimensions and profile of each region (22) of a screen printing plate (11) where a plurality of print patterns (12) of predetermined profile are arranged are not altered but only the position of the region is adjusted. Correction amount in the advancing direction of a squeegee and correction amount in the width direction of a squeegee at the position of the region are calculated according to the following expressions. (a). An expression for determining the correction amount in the advancing direction of a squeegee; ax2+bx ...(1) x :distance between the region and the center line of the plate in the advancing direction of a squeegee a,b:correction coefficients (b).
