Abstract
An air purification device has an electric dust collector for separating and removing fine particles in exhaust gas and also has an absorption agent layer for absorbing acid gas in the exhaust gas. The device draws the exhaust gas from the upstream side to the downstream side to cause the gas to pass through the electric dust collector and the absorption agent layer. An ozone ejection nozzle for generating ozone for converting nitrogen monoxide into nitrogen dioxide is placed on the upstream side of the electric dust collector, and the absorption agent layer is placed on the downstream side of the electric dust collector.
