Vaccines comprising the NEAT domain of iron-regulated surface determinant (Isd) proteins IsdA, IsdB, IsdC, and IsdH (HarA) from Staphylococcus aureus, as well as antibodies, antisense nucleic acids and siRNA specific to the NEAT domains of IsdA, IsdB.
