Abstract

The invention relates to an exhaust member (1) included in an exhaust line and connected to a thermal engine, that comprises an exhaust manifold (2) to be connected to the engine by at least one attachement means (3), and an insulation device (4) for said manifold (2) in the form of a housing (41) receiving inside thereof at least a portion of the manifold (2). The housing (41) includes: at least one opening (5) for the inlet into the device (4) of the exhaust gases from the engine; at least one opening (51) for the outlet of the exhaust gases out of the device (4); at least one opening (52) for the passage of attachment means (3) for attaching the exhaust member (1) on the engine. This member is characterised in that it comprises at least one strut extending at least inside the housing (41) and adapted for offsetting outside said housing (41) a manoeuvring member (30) comprised in said attachment means (3).
