Abstract

The invention relates to a slat end-piece (40) for a bed base comprising at least one recess (14, 16, 26) intended to receive the end of a slat in a direction of insertion (D) of said slat. The invention is characterized in that the recess (14) also comprises an end-stop unit (44) which is able to tilt, on the insertion of said slat, between a rest position and a tilted position in which an end-stop wall (46) of the end-stop unit extends in a plane roughly orthogonal to the direction of insertion (D) so as to form a stop for the slat.
