Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of coating a trap net and a vessel, and more particularly, to a method of coating a trap net and a vessel that can prevent a foreign object from adhering to a trap net for farming fishes and a surface of a vessel, to increase lifespans thereof and reduce water resistance against the cruising speed of the vessel. An object of the present invention is to prevent a foreign object from adhering to a trap net, a gauze, a surface of a vessel, and others used underwater and extend their lifespan, thereby reducing financial burdens. Another object of the present invention is to prevent an environmental pollution due to the leakage of lead contaminated in a paint. To achieve the objects of the present invention, there is provided a method of coating a trap net and a vessel, the method including coating the trap net or a surface of the vessel with any one of Anacardic acid, Cardanol, Cardol, and Urushiol.

Description

Description TRAP NET AND VESSEL COATING METHOD
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a method of coating a trap net and a vessel, and more particularly, to a method of coating a trap net and a vessel that can prevent a foreign object from adhering to a trap net for farming fishes and a surface of a vessel, to increase lifespans thereof and reduce water resistance against the cruising speed of the vessel. Background Art
[2] When trap nets for farming fishes and surfaces of vessels are submerged in water for a long time, their aging and corrosion are inevitable. Thus, their lifespans are reduced and various miscellaneous seaweeds, suspending materials and shells in water are attached to the surfaces of the vessels to clog the meshes of the trap nets and reduce the speed of the vessels.
[3] In other words, when a trap net without treatment is directly used for farming, foreign objects adhere to the trap net to reduce the lifespan of the trap net to below two years, generally.
[4] Also, the surface of a vessel formed as steel plates is coated with a paint containing lead for preventing corrosion and the attachment of marine life, to pollute seawater. Thus, the ecosystem is destroyed to result in serious damage to human life. Also, since the paint of a vessel is peeled off during the attachment of various foreign objects and the removal thereof, the painting of the vessel is generally required every 2 years, and the suspension of the vessel service and costs for painting the vessel become financial burdens.
Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[5] To address the above limitations, an object of the present invention is to prevent a foreign object from adhering to a trap net, a gauze, a surface of a vessel, and others used underwater and extend their lifespan, thereby reducing financial burdens.
[6] Another object of the present invention is to prevent an environmental pollution due to the leakage of lead contaminated in a paint. Technical Solution
[7] To achieve the objects of the present invention, there is provided a method of coating a trap net and a vessel, the method including: coating the trap net or a surface of the vessel with any one of Anacardic acid, Cardanol, Cardol, and Urushiol. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [8] A method of coating a trap net and a vessel will now be described according to embodiments of the present invention.

[26] [27] As described above, according to the method of coating a trap net and a vessel of the present invention, it is possible to prevent various micro-organisms, spores and floating shells from adhering to a trap net, a gauze, a steel plate of a vessel and others used underwater for farming fishes, and possible to prevent the growth of seeds of various micro-organisms, spores and shells that adhere thereto and easily peel off the seeds.
Industrial Applicability
[28] As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent a foreign object from adhering to a trap net, a gauze, a surface of a vessel, and others used underwater and extend their lifespan to reduce financial burdens and prevent an environmental pollution due to the leakage of lead contaminated in the paint of vessels.
