Abstract
A multilayered polyester molding with barrier properties which mainly includes superposed layers obtained by separately melting a base ingredient comprising a thermoplastic polyester resin (A) and a minor ingredient comprising a thermoplastic resin (B) with respective extruders and molding the base ingredient and minor ingredient each in a molten state through a static mixer. The content of a cyclic-ester oligomer in the thermoplastic polyester resin (A) is not more than 70% of the content of a cyclic-ester oligomer in a melt polycondensation polyester. The superposed layers are at least three layers superposed in the thickness direction which are composed of one or more layers (X) formed from the base ingredient and one or more layers (Y) formed from the minor ingredient. This multilayered polyester molding with barrier properties is excellent in gas-barrier properties and mechanical properties. It suffers no interlaminar separation.
