Abstract

A menthol cigarette with charcoal filter comprising a tobacco part including a tobacco rod consisting of a tobacco filling material containing flakes of rolled sheet tobacco or extruded sheet tobacco in a proportion of 8 wt.% or more and, wrapping the outer circumference of the tobacco rod, a cigarette wrapping paper, and comprising a filter part having a charcoal filter fitted to one end of the tobacco part, wherein a menthol-enclosing cyclodextrin clathrate is mixed into the flakes of rolled sheet tobacco or extruded sheet tobacco.
