Abstract

The invention relates to a method or a corresponding arrangement for producing a metal granulate (1), in which slip (2) from at least one metal component and at least one liquid phase based on water are separated by spraying in a spraying device (3) to produce droplets (8). The droplets (8) are then guided for the purpose of drying through a gas stream (11) to the metal granulate (1). The gas stream (11) is introduced into the spraying device (3) with a gas entry temperature (T1) and is discharged therefrom with a gas exit temperature (T2), the gas entry temperature (T1) being greater than the gas exit temperature (T2) and the gas stream (11) being introduced with a gas entry temperature (T1) higher than 230 °C.
