Abstract

A content providing apparatus for providing information contents to client apparatuses via a network. The content providing apparatus comprises an invent detecting means that detects an invent occurring in the content providing apparatus; a static content generating means that, when the invent being detected, converts the original format of the information contents to another predetermined format to generate static contents; a request receiving means that receives requests of the contents transmitted by client apparatuses; an authenticating means that authenticates the client apparatuses having transmitted the requests; and a content providing means that provides the generated static contents only to the client apparatuses that are successfully authenticated.
