Abstract

　動画像配信システムは、動画像ストリームを蓄積する配信サーバー（１０１）と、端末（１０３）が希望する動画像ストリームを配信サーバー（１０１）から受信して、動画像ストリームを端末（１０３）から指定された任意の位置から配信できるように変換して端末（１０３）に送信する際に、動画像ストリームを解析して変換が必要な範囲のみ動画像ストリームを変換する変換装置（１０２）とを有する。変換装置（１０２）は、再生開始位置になると動画像トランスコーダ（１０８）で再生開始フレームを生成し、以降のフレームについては、動画像トランスコーダ（１０８）で解析し、変換が必要な場合のみ変換を行い、変換が不要な場合は動画像ストリームをそのまま出力する。
