Abstract

Disclosed is an optical film having preferable wavelength dispersion, which can be formed relatively thin. Specifically disclosed is an optical film containing a polymer having a repeating unit represented by the general formula (II) below. In the formula (II) below, A, A', B and B' each represents a substituent, and a, a', b and b' respectively represent the number of substitution of A, A', B and B'. Specifically, A, A', B and B' independently represent a halogen or an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms; R1 and R2 each represents a halogen, an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms or the like; and X represents -CO-, -SO2- or the like.
