Abstract

A synchronous communication system capable of high-precision synchronization without adding any hardware is provided. In the synchronous communication system, a synchronous server is synchronized with two or more clients connected to the synchronous server. The synchronous server transmits a clock counter as synchronous information to the clients. The clients compare their own clock counters with the synchronous information, obtain correction values for correcting errors in their own clock counters for the synchronous information, and apply the correction values to their own counters for synchronization with the synchronous server.
