Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système utilisable pour au moins la lecture de données dans un support de données optiques tridimensionnelles ayant au moins une couche de référence et au moins une couche de données. Un faisceau d'enregistrement/lecture et un faisceau de référence sont concentrés sur le support optique à travers un élément optique commun, créant ainsi deux points focaux dans différents plans optiques. Un déplacement au moins dudit élément optique est contrôlé de telle sorte que le point focal dudit faisceau de lecture/enregistrement suit une piste de données dans une couche de données adressée, cette opération de contrôle comportant l'identification d'un changement dans un signal d'erreur à partir de la couche de référence pendant que le faisceau de référence suit la couche de référence, ajustant ainsi une cible d'alignement pour le contrôle du déplacement du faisceau de référence.
