Abstract
Provided is a jointing jig comprising a first jig having abutting faces for abutting against two faces across the ridgeline which is the most distant from the joint face of one prism, and a second jig having abutting faces for abutting against two faces across the ridgeline which is the most distant from the joint face of the other prism. At an adhering step (S3), the first jig and the second jig are moved so relatively to each other in the directions normal to the joint faces of the individual prisms that the individual ridgelines of the two prisms may be parallel to each other and that a predetermined positional relation may be satisfied in directions normal to the individual ridgelines and parallel to the joint faces. The joint faces of the two prisms are brought into close contact such that the two faces of one prism are brought into abutment against the abutting faces of the first jig and such that the two faces of the other prism are brought into abutment against the abutting faces of the second jig.
