【課題】高速回転が可能であるとともに、電圧が低い電源の利用が可能であり、かつ回生もし易くする。 【解決手段】バッテリ10の出力側に駆動時にバッテリ10の電圧を昇圧する第1の昇降圧チョッパ部を設けるとともに、第1の昇降圧チョッパ部の出力側に回生時にインバータ部20からの電圧を昇圧する第2の昇降圧チョッパ部を設け、第2の昇降圧チョッパ部の出力側に120度通流形電流形インバータ部20を設け、インバータ部20の出力側にモータ38を設ける。
