Abstract
Disclosed is a transmission comprising a housing (9) inside which transmission elements are accommodated. The corresponding actuators of the transmission are operated using pressurized oil. The oil pressure pump required for said purpose is mounted on the drive shaft of the internal combustion engine. The pump delivers oil in accordance with the speed of the internal combustion engine. In order for the transmission to be highly efficient, at least one planetary gear set (10), by means of which at least one drive shaft (2) is connected to at least one output shaft (7), is located in the housing (9). Furthermore, at least one hydraulic pump (14) is provided inside the housing (9). The planetary gear set (10) achieves high efficiency. The hydraulic pump (14) delivers the hydraulic medium in accordance with the required amount rather than the rotational speed of the drive shaft (2) of the internal combustion engine. Said transmission is advantageously used in motor vehicles comprising internal combustion engines.
