Description

[DESCRIPTION]
[Invention Title]
VINYL-STICKER FOR REMOVING NIGHT SOIL CLOGGED IN CHAMBER POT
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to a vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker which is capable of removing feces clogging a pipeline connected to a toilet bowl using pressure and the pressure change in the toilet bowl in order to remove the feces without direct contact with the feces.
[Background Art]
Generally, a sewage pipeline connected to the lower end of a toilet bowl functions to guide urine and feces to a sewage treatment system or a sewage tank when a user of a toilet bowl relieves himself or herself. In more detail, the sewage pipeline consists of an upwardly curved portion and a downwardly curved portion. As a result, the water level in the toilet bowl can be maintained constant. The water pooling in the toilet bowl can prevent odors from flowing backward and prevent vermin from rising in the toilet bowl .
The sewage pipeline is likely to be clogged when various kinds of solid sewage such as toilet paper discarded into the toilet bowl are introduced into the toilet bowl. As known methods of unclogging the sewage pipeline, chemicals which can dissolve the sewage are flushed into the toilet bowl, or a plunger has been used.
However, in the case of using chemicals, there is a problem in that the chemicals are harmful to the human body, induce environmental water pollution, and have low unclogging efficiency because they are diluted with water in the toilet bowl.
On the other hand, in the case of using the plunger, since the plunger has a structure consisting of a hemispherical compressing rubber body provided at the lower end of a bar and the sewage pipeline is unclogged by the pushing force of the rubber body, there is a lot of problems in that the unclogging effect is not ensured, the sewage splatters, thus contaminating the area surrounding the toilet bowl, the sewage in the toilet bowl is turbulent Iy mixed and thus causes odors, it is difficult to perform an unclogging operation while visually monitoring the toilet bowl because of disgust, and the plunger must be cleaned after using for storage. Accordingly, people have been reluctant to use such plungers to unclog toilet bowls.
In order to solve at least some of the problems described above, FIG. 1 shows a toilet bowl unclogging instrument disclosed in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0220682. The toilet bowl unclogging instrument includes a base portion 10, an insertion portion 20 connected to an end of the base portion 10 and formed to be inserted into a drain pipe 2 which is bent thanks to its flexibility, and a handle portion 30 which is connected to the remaining end of the base portion 10 and which receives external rotating force in order to rotate at the insertion portion 20. The insertion portion 20 has threads 21 in the outer surface thereof so that it can penetrate the sewage and push the sewage to advance it when the insertion portion 20 is rotated while it is inserted into the drain pipeline 20 of the toilet bowl 1, which is clogged by sewage.
However, when unclogging the toilet bowl, such a toilet bowl unclogging instrument also has a problem in that the sewage in the toilet bowl is turbulentIy mixed, odors linger around the toilet bowl, and it is difficult for people having weak stomachs to perform unclogging work while visually monitoring the sewage because the insertion portion is inserted into the toilet bowl. Further, since the insertion portion must be cleaned after use for storage, a user is very reluctant to use the toilet bowl unclogging instrument.
Besides the toilet bowl unclogging instrument described above, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 0192364 discloses a penetrating device for a toilet bowl, and Korean Utility Model Registration No. 0333403 discloses a plunger for sewage removal. Also, further devices have been disclosed to unclog the toilet bowl. However, the known techniques also have problems similar to those disclosed above. [Disclosure] [Technical Problem]
The invention is conceived to solve the above-described problems, and the object of the invention is to provide a vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker which can perfectly remove feces without direct contact with the feces by increasing the pressure inside a toilet bowl.
Another object of the invention is to provide a vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker which can be easily used and which does not require post treatment after use, such as cleaning, because it is manufactured to be disposable. Accordingly, the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker can be conveniently used by everyone. [Technical Solution]
In order to accomplish the object of the invention, there is provided a vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker including a vinyl member formed sufficiently wide to be capable of covering the upper surface of a toilet bowl, an adhesive layer provided along an edge of a back surface of the vinyl member, and a cover member attached to a back surface of the adhesive layer in a detachable manner and having the same shape as the vinyl member.
In the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker, it is preferable that the cover member have a dividing line, which is a cut line, on a portion to define an auxiliary cover member.
In the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker, it is preferable that the vinyl member be wider than the upper surface of an upper portion of the toilet bowl by 5 to 6 cm along front, left, and right sides thereof.
In the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker, it is preferable that the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker further include an additional adhesive layer provided at a rear portion of the back surface of the adhesive layer so that the vinyl sticker can be more securely bonded to the toilet bowl.
In the vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker, it is preferable that the additional adhesive layer be formed in the form of a straight line or a curved line which corresponds to the contour of the toilet bowl. [Advantageous Effects]
According to the invention, water is flushed in the state in which the inside of the toilet bowl is sealed so that the pressure inside in the toilet bowl is increased. Since pressure is put on the vinyl sticker attached to the toilet bowl, it is possible to easily remove feces clogging the sewage pipeline connected to the toilet bowl without direct contact with the feces.
Since the sewage is untouched, it is possible to fundamentally eliminate the factor of odors that are likely to linger around the toilet bowl during the removal of the feces and to decrease the chance that a user feels sick when dealing with the feces. As a result, the removal of the feces can be easily performed.
In addition, it is possible to remarkably decrease the manufacturing cost of product thanks to the simple structure of a vinyl sticker, and it is further advantageous in that post treatment such as cleaning is not needed because it is a disposable product. [Description of Drawings]

Preferable embodiments of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the shape of a toilet bowl and a vinyl sticker according to the invention, FIGs. 3 and 4 are side sectional views illustrating the vinyl sticker according to the invention, FIGs. 5 and 6 are bottom views illustrating the vinyl sticker from which a cover member is separated, and FIGs. 7 through 9 are views illustrating the action of discharging sewage using the vinyl sticker according to the invention.
With reference to the accompanying drawings, the invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 2, the vinyl sticker 200 is bonded to the upper surface of a toilet bowl 100. The vinyl sticker 200 is sufficiently wide to be capable of covering the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100, and is made of a vinyl member which is flexible material. That is, the width of the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention is not limited to particular values, but may be manufactured in various shapes and widths corresponding to the size of the toilet bowl 100.
The width of the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention is larger than the width of the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100 by 5 to 6 cm in front, left, and right sides thereof. In the case in which the vinyl sticker 200 is attached to the toilet bowl 100, it is preferable that the front, left, and right sides of the vinyl sticker 200 be able to cover the side surfaces of the toilet bowl 100.
FIG. 3 through FIG. 6 illustrate the sectional shape of the vinyl sticker 200 and the bottom shape of the vinyl sticker 200 in the state in which the cover member 230 is separated. As described above, the vinyl member 210 has the above described width and shape, and an adhesive layer 220 is provided on the back surface of the vinyl member.
The adhesive layer 220 may be manufactured to have the same shape as the vinyl member 210. However, alternatively, the adhesive layer 220 may be formed to be thinner than the vinyl member 210 so as to be provided on along only the edge of the back surface of the vinyl member 210. That is, it is preferable that the adhesive layer 220 not be formed in the middle portion of the upper surface of the toilet bowl.
Here, "clogged-vinyl toilet bowl unclogging sticker" (Korean Utility Model Application No. 20-2007-0006844), which was previously submitted by the present inventor, has a problem in that the bonding force with respect to the toilet bowl is not sufficiently strong because the upper surface of the toilet bowl is narrow, and thus it happens that the vinyl sticker comes detached from the upper surface of the toilet bowl.
Accordingly, in order to solve this problem, the vinyl sticker according to the invention further includes an additional adhesive layer 225, which can be bonded to the side surface of a rear portion of the toilet bowl 100, at the rear portion of the adhesive layer 220, so that the vinyl sticker can be more securely bonded to the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100. In this manner, the weak bonding force attributable to narrowness of the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100 is supplemented.
As shown in FIG. 5 and 6, the additional adhesive layer 225 has the shape of a straight line or a curved line which is curved so as to correspond to the contour of the toilet bowl 100.
For this reason, since the bonding area between the vinyl sticker 200 and the toilet bowl 100 is increased, the bonding force is enhanced. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the vinyl sticker 220 from being separated from the toilet bowl 100, and the sealing efficiency is increased.
The back surface of the adhesive layer 220 is provided with a cover member 230. The cover member 230 has the same shape as the vinyl member 210. In the case in which the adhesive layer 220 does not have a bonding agent in the center portion thereof, it is preferable that the middle portion of the cover member 230 be penetrated. The back surface of the cover member 230 has a dividing line 231, which is a cut line to define an auxiliary cover member 232. When installing the vinyl sticker on the toilet bowl, the auxiliary cover member 232 is first removed, and thus the vinyl sticker 200 can be neatly and securely bonded to the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100.
The operation and advantage of the invention having the above structure will be described in detail below.
As shown in FIG. 7 through 9, in order to remove feces clogging the sewage pipeline connected to the toilet bowl 100 using the vinyl sticker according to the invention, the auxiliary cover member 232 provided at the back side of the vinyl sticker 200 is removed first, and then the adhesive layer 220, which was covered with the auxiliary sticker 232, is attached to the ceramic portion at the rear portion of the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100.
Next, the cover member 230 of the vinyl sticker 200 is removed. As soon as the cover member 230 is separated from the vinyl sticker, the adhesive layer 220 and the additional adhesive layer 225, which are exposed outside, are securely bonded to the circumference of the upper portion of the toilet bowl and the side surface of the rear ceramic portion of the toilet bowl. The vinyl sticker 200, bonded to the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100, is wider than the upper surface of the toilet bowl by a predetermined length at front, left, and right sides of the toilet bowl. The extra portion extending from the outer edge of the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100 is bonded to the side surface of the toilet bowl 100.
The outer circumference of the vinyl sticker 200 has a bow shape. Accordingly, when the vinyl sticker 200 is attached to the circumference of the toilet bowl 100, some portions of the vinyl sticker 200 are likely to overlap and are folded. However, the vinyl sticker 200 can be securely attached to the upper surface of the toilet bowl while maintaining a sealed state of the toilet bowl thanks to the strong adhesion property of the adhesive layer 220 and the flexibility of the vinyl member 210. Accordingly, such overlapping or folding portions do not cause any problem in the use of the vinyl sticker 200 of the invention.
In this way, after the vinyl sticker 200 is used to cover the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100, as shown in FIG. 8, the water in the toilet bowl 100 is flushed to increase the pressure inside the toilet bowl 100. As a result, the center portion of the vinyl sticker 200, which is not directly bonded to the upper surface of the toilet bowl, bulges upward.
Next, as shown in FIG. 9, when the upper surface of the bulging portion of the vinyl sticker 200 is pressed with weak force, the increased air pressure inside the toilet bowl 100 pushes the water in the toilet bowl 100. As a result, it is possible to remove various kinds of sewage clogging the sewage pipeline 110.
That is, after the vinyl sticker 200 is attached to the upper surface of the toilet bowl 100 and the space inside the toilet bowl 100 is sealed, the pressure inside the toilet bowl 100 is artificially increased by flushing the water in the toilet bowl 100 and the vinyl sticker 200 is pressed. As a result, it is possible to simply remove the sewage clogging the sewage pipeline 110 of the toilet bowl 100 without direct contact with the sewage.
In addition, the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention is advantageous in that the sewage can be removed using only the inside pressure of the toilet bowl 100, applied to the inside of the toilet bowl. Accordingly, there is no need to directly contact the sewage to remove the sewage. As a result, it is possible to eliminate the factor of odors which are likely to linger around the toilet bowl during the removal of the sewage, and it is possible to decrease disgust with respect to the sewage. For these reasons, it is possible to more conveniently remove the sewage.
The vinyl sticker 200 has a structure such that the adhesive layer 220 and the additional adhesive layer 225 are attached to the cover member 230, which is made of vinyl. Accordingly, the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention can be manufactured at a remarkably decreased cost. For this reason, the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention is price competitive and thus it is possible for the vinyl sticker 200 to be a disposable type. That is, the vinyl sticker 200 according to the invention is advantageous in that post treatment such as cleaning is not needed, unlike known toilet bowl unclogging tools, such as plungers.
Although exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be apparent to those having ordinary skill in the art that a number of changes, modifications, or alterations to the invention as described herein may be made, none of which depart from the spirit of the present invention. All such changes, modifications and alterations should therefore be seen as falling within the scope of the present invention. [Industrial Applicability]
The vinyl sticker according to the invention is advantageous in that it is possible to remove faces clogging a pipeline connected to a toilet bowl without direct contact with the faces in a simple manner such that water is flushed while the sealing state of the toilet bowl is maintained to increase the pressure inside the toilet bowl and pressure is put on the vinyl sticker attached to the toilet bowl.
The vinyl sticker according to the invention is further advantageous in that it is possible to fundamentally eliminate the factor of odors which are likely to linger around the toilet bowl during the removal of the faces, it is possible to decrease disgust with respect to the faces, and it is possible to more conveniently perform the removal work of the faces because there is no need to directly contact the faces.
Moreover, thanks to the simple structure, the vinyl sticker according to the invention can be manufactured at a remarkably decreased cost and thus it can be manufactured to be disposal. As a result, the vinyl sticker according to the invention is still further advantageous in that post treatment such as cleaning is not needed.
