Abstract
The spindle is firmly attached to a drive element (19), the first filament (F1), which enters via the end (4) of the spindle, re-emerges radially from this spindle at a plate (5) thereof, which rotates thereby forming a balloon shape (6), the second elementary filament (F2), which is paid out from one or more reels (8) located in a can (7) positioned above the spindle (3), passes through a braking device (9), the two filaments (F1, F2) come together at a cabling head (11) that is designed to equalize the progress of the two filaments (F1, F2) and their respective tensions by passing them over at least one rotary assembly (12) comprising tracks onto which said filaments are wound separately. The cabling head (11) comprises an auxiliary electric drive element (18). The auxiliary drive element (18) and the drive element (19) that drives the twisting spindle (3) are powered by one and the same control system (20) so that said drive elements revolve at the same speed, give or take slippage, which slippage manifests itself in a variation in the angular offset between the spindle (3) and the cabling head (11) corresponding to self-balancing of the tensions in the filaments (F1, F2).
