Abstract

The electrical connection system according to the invention comprises a female connector and a male connector having a body made of insulating material with two opposed main faces (12, 13), a lower face (14) in which two connection pins (15, 16) are engaged, an upper face, two side faces (17) and an electrical cable (11) connected to the upper part of one of the lateral faces. This male connector has two gripping flanges (21, 22) that extend laterally, on either side of the longitudinal mid-plane of said body, these two flanges (21, 22) being mounted so as to rock on said body between two positions, namely: - a gripping position in which the two flanges (21, 22) lie approximately parallel to the axes of said pins; and - a security position in which the two flanges (21, 22) are turned back approximately perpendicular to said axes.
