Abstract

[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The toilet paper holder (1A) has a holder body (3) for rotatably supporting toilet paper (2), a swing cover (4) located above the paper (2), an urging mechanism (5) for pressing the front end (41) of the cover (4) to the paper (2), an advance roller (6) for rotating the paper (2) to advance the leading edge of the paper (2), and an urging force adjustment mechanism (7) capable of adjusting urging force applied by the urging mechanism (5). In the holder (1A), when the advance roller (6) is rotated, the paper (2) is rotated in the opposite direction to the direction of rotation of the advance roller (6) by friction force between the lower side (62) of the advance roller (6) and the outer peripheral surface of the toilet paper (2), and this advances the leading edge of the paper (2) downward in sequence.
