Abstract

　発光デバイスの劣化現象を抑制するために、有機ＥＬ素子１０によって発光部を形成する発光デバイスにおいて、第１絶縁膜３の最外縁部Ｅ３を覆うように、第２電極５上に第２絶縁膜６を形成し、第１絶縁膜３の最外縁部Ｅ３を覆うように、第２絶縁膜６上に有機材料層７を形成し、第１絶縁膜３の最外縁部Ｅ３を覆うように、有機材料層７上に無機バリア層８を形成し、第２絶縁膜６、有機材料層７、無機バリア層８を全て覆う接着剤層９を介して基板１に封止部材１０を接着した封止構造を備える。
