Abstract

A connection box in which one or more optical fiber cables introduced from the outside is connected. The connection box comprises a box body having an opened front surface and a cable introduction part for introducing the cables from the outside to the inside, a cover body for covering the front surface so as to be freely capable of opening and closing, and a waterproof space defined in the connection box body near the cable introduction part by the cooperation performed between the cover body and the connection box body when the cover body is closed onto the box body.
