Abstract

Disclosed is a metal corrosion inhibitor composition which has excellent metal corrosion preventing effects with only a little burden on the environment. Specifically disclosed is a metal corrosion inhibitor composition characterized by containing at least two substances selected from the group consisting of surfactants or salts thereof, organic acids having 4 or more carbon atoms or salts thereof, phosphorus-containing compounds or salts thereof, and sulfur-containing compounds or salts thereof. Also disclosed is a method for preventing metal corrosion, which is characterized by processing a metal using the metal corrosion inhibitor composition.
