Abstract

A 7000 aluminum alloy extrudate that suppresses natural aging of proof strength value, etc. through inhibiting of positive effects by unattended leaving at ordinary temperature after extrusion forming and excels in impact resistance performance. For the suppression of natural aging of proof strength value, etc. through inhibiting of positive effects by unattended leaving at ordinary temperature after extrusion forming, in the extrudate of 7000 aluminum alloy, the amounts of Mg and Zn components are regulated so that with respect to the stoichiometric composition represented by MgZn2, the excess Mg component rate is less than 0.5 mass%, or the excess Zn component rate is less than 0.5 mass%.
