Abstract

This invention relates to a method of increasing the selenium content of protein sources of an animal by oral administration of a tablet containing at least one selenium source. Also described is a composition and use of same for increasing the selenium content of animal protein sources by oral administration of the composition, containing at least one selenium source, preferably selenomethionine.
