Abstract

Odorizing apparatus (1) for odorizing natural gas (8) produced by reaction of NGH (4) with hot water (7a). The odorizing apparatus includes a flow rate control valve (12) disposed on a bypass pipe line (11) connected to a gas pipe line (10) for natural gas and an evaporation can (13) for an odorant (14). The extent of opening of the flow rate control valve (12) is controlled on the basis of the natural gas flow rate through the gas pipe line (10), the pressure of natural gas in the bypass pipe line (11) between the flow rate control valve (12) and the evaporation can (13) and the temperature of the odorant (14) put in the evaporation can (13).
