Abstract

With respect to X-ray tube (1), in the high-precision positioning of electron gun (8) within electron gun housing (7), first opening portion (20) can be used as an observation window for the purpose of checking the position of the electron gun (8) after the fitting thereof to thereby facilitate visual checking of, for example, the presence or absence of any contact between the electron gun (8) and the internal surface of the electron gun housing (7) and facilitate fine adjustment of the position of the electron gun (8) within the electron gun housing (7). Further, in the assembly of the X-ray tube (1), the first opening portion (20) of the electron gun housing (7) can be disposed within target accommodating body (4) to thereby facilitate assembly fitting work of the electron gun housing (7). Accordingly, in accordance with the facilitation of the assembly fitting work of the electron gun housing (7), there can be attained an enhancement of assembly work efficiency of the X-ray tube (1).
