Abstract
An exhaust heat recovering muffler (1) comprises an exhaust heat recovery part (4) disposed between an inner pipe (3) and an outer pipe (2) through which an exhaust gas passes and recovering an exhaust heat by heat-exchanging between the exhaust gas and a heat exchange medium, a supply pipe (22) for supplying the heat exchange medium to the exhaust heat recovery part (4) in such a state that the pipe (22) extends through the outer pipe (2), a discharge pipe (23) for discharging the heat exchange medium from the exhaust heat recovery part (4) in such a state that the pipe (23) extends through the outer pipe (2), a selector part (5) for changing the flow of the exhaust gas into the inner pipe (3) or the exhaust heat recovery part (4), and a muffling part (6) which communicates with both of the exhaust heat recovery part (4) and the inner pipe (3) and reduces the noise occurred by the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust heat recovery part (4) or the inner pipe (3) irrespective of changing operation by the selector part (5).
