Abstract
In a receiving device (100) mounted on a mobile object and having a function of receiving broadcast waves, a schedule acquiring unit (101) acquires distribution schedule information on download data for the receiving device, a reception determining unit (102) determines whether the broadcast waves are receivable or not, and a moving status acquiring unit (103) acquires information on the moving status of the mobile object. When the reception determining unit (102) determines that the broadcast waves are receivable, a selecting unit (104) selects receivable download data based on the information on the moving status of the mobile object acquired by the moving status acquiring unit (103) and the distribution schedule information. A receiving unit (105) receives the download data selected by the selecting unit (104) based on the distribution schedule information.
