Abstract

Disclosed is a crosslinked product of a polyether copolymer which can be used as a rubber having excellent heat resistance, oil resistance, fuel oil resistance and low temperature characteristics, using almost no halogen-containing compound or without using a halogen-containing compound at all. Also disclosed is such a copolymer. Specifically disclosed is a polyether multielement copolymer having 60-99.8% by mole of a constitutional unit represented by the general formula (I) below, 0-39.8% by mole of a constitutional unit represented by the general formula (II) below, and 0.2-10% by mole of a constitutional unit derived from a crosslinkable oxirane monomer. In the formulae below, R1 represents an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, a phenyl group or -CH2O-R3 (wherein R3 represents an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group).
