Abstract

The marine plants are breed in nurseries and introduced into larger areas of the oceans is considered as am important approach to mitigate the increasing atmospheric CO2. This may increase the photosynthates which sequester the dissolve CO2 and provide energy source (food) to the marine fauna. Further, breeding of Coelentrata/ Cnidaria and Mollusks in nurseries and release them back into their environment and these organisms will utilized the dissolved CO2 derived from the atmosphere and produce CaCO3 which is ultimately deposited in the sea bed.
