Abstract
The present invention relates to a slim type slide opening and closing apparatus. The opening and closing apparatus is provided to form an incision groove by cutting a part of a holder portion in a second plate, and to directly contact a lib by inserting and molding a rail with wear resistant property in the incision groove, and to fix the rail by forming a dug part at the lib toward of the incision groove. Thereby the opening and closing apparatus may manufacture the slim type and support the lib by strongly fixing the rail.
Description
Description
A SLIM TYPE SLIDE OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a slim type slide opening and closing apparatus, more particularly, to a thin slide opening and closing apparatus comprising a holder portion where a chamfer is mounted and a rail for holding a lib where is inserted and molded to be fixed, in order to slim down the slim type slide opening and closing apparatus by reducing width of the holder portion and to stably support the lib by strongly fixing the rail. Background Art
[2] Generally, a portable terminal having a slide opening and closing apparatus opens and closes a main body by sliding a sub body on the main body, wherein the main body has a keypad on which is mounted, and the sub body has a liquid crystal on which display is mounted. The portable terminal opened and closed by sliding has advantages of usage to simply open and close and to be convenient of using a multimedia function.
[3] Recently, a slim type portable terminal among slide opening and closing portable terminals gains popularity so that a new structure is requested to reduce the thickness of the slide opening and closing apparatus for getting the portable terminal further slim.
[4] FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a slim type slide opening and closing apparatus for a portable terminal as known conventionally.
[5] The slide opening and closing apparatus as shown in FIG. 1 comprises a fixed plate
10 fixed at one side of a main body or a sub body, and a moving plate 20 fixed at the other side of the main body or the sub body, and the moving plate 20 is slid from the fixed plate 10.
[6] A lib 12 is formed at both sides of the fixed plate 10 and a holder portion 22 is formed at both sides of the moving plate 20 to slidably couple with the lib 12. The fixed plate 10 and the moving plate 20 are slidably coupled by coupling the lib 12 and the holder portion 22.
[7] The holder portion 22 has a shape of "D" having a space for coupling with the lib 12 in the middle.
[8] On the one hand, the fixed plate 10 and the moving plate 20 of the slim type slide opening and closing apparatus are made of metal generally. Thus noise takes place by relative friction when the fixed plate 10 and the moving plate 20 are sliding relatively, so that it has a disadvantage that life time gets shorten due to the abrasion.
[9] To resolve the above mentioned problem in the prior art, a rail made of material having lower hardness compared with the metal, such as plastic is inserted in the space of the holder portion 22, and the lib 12 contacts to the rail without directly contacting the holder portion 22, so as to protect damage of the friction.
[10] However, the width of the holder portion 22 becomes thick according to the thickness of the rail for coupling with the holder portion 22 and the rail in this structure, and the slide opening and closing apparatus gets thick, so that it is difficult to slim the portable terminal.
[11] Moreover, it is also difficult to strongly fix the rail on the holder portion, because the rail is fabricated as an injection generally. Disclosure of Invention Technical Problem
[12] To solve the above mentioned problem, a first object of the present invention is provided to get slim an opening and closing apparatus by reducing width of a holder portion and to stably support a lib by stably and strongly fixing a rail, wherein the holder portion includes a chamfer and a rail for grasping the lib is inserted and molded to fix in a thin slide opening and closing apparatus. Technical Solution
[13] It is an object of the present invention to provide a first plate for forming a lib in both sides of the first plate; and a second plate for forming a holder portion of the second plate; wherein the second plate includes an incision groove which is formed by cutting a part of the holder portion, and a rail with wear resistant property is inserted and molded in the incision groove to directly contact to the lib.
[14] A dug portion is formed in a direction of the lib at the incision groove without being taken off the rail.
[15] The rail is mounted in the both sides of the second plate respectively, and the both sides of the rails are connected each other by a guide bar which is contacted to the lib.
[16] The second plate comprises the holder portion is formed by twice bending two points including the incision groove after forming the incision groove in a plane shape.
[17] Although the present invention has been described with reference to several exemplary embodiments, the description is illustrative of the invention and is not to be construed as limiting the invention. Various modifications and variations may occur to those skilled in the art, without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, as defined by the appended claims.
Advantageous Effects
[18] In the slim slide opening and closing apparatus as illustrated above, a chamfer is formed in a holder portion and a rail for grasping a lib is inserted and molded to fix so
as to reduce the width of the holder portion, thereby the slide opening and closing apparatus may manufacture a micro slim type and the lib is supported stably by strongly fixing the rail. Brief Description of the Drawings

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [36] Hereinafter, an opening and closing apparatus in accordance with the preferred aspect of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. [39] The opening and closing apparatus of the embodiment comprises a first plate 110 where a lib 112 is formed on the both sides of the first plate 110, and a second plate 120 which includes a holder portion 122 is formed to have the shape of wrapping the lib 112.
[40] The first plate 110 is coupled with a main body or a display portion of a portable terminal, and the second plate 120 is fixed on the other one.
[41] The second plate 120 includes an incision groove 124 formed by cutting a part of the holder portion 122, and a chamfer 126 which is chamfered at an edge bending to the lib 112 is formed on the incision groove 124 as shown in Fig. 3.
[42] The second plate 120 is made of a metal plate as shown in Fig. 3, and the holder portion 122 is formed by twice bending at the two points a, b including the incision groove 124 after forming the incision groove 124 at the shape of the plane as shown in Fig. 4.
[43] And the rail 130 with abrasion resistance is inserted in the incision groove 124 including the chamfer 126 by molding to directly contact to the lib 112. The whole shape of the rail 130 is made to fill in the space of the incision groove 124.
[44] The rail 130 is not separated from the second plate 120 after inserting and molding, but the rail 130 is separated from the second plate 120 is illustrated in Fig 6 for your reference.
[45] The rail 130 is preferably formed by compound resin with good abrasion resistance, buffer, and smooth such as acetal, POM, and PC etc.
[46] On the other hand, the rail 130 is mounted in the both sides of the second plate 120 respectively in pair, and a pair of injections in the both sides are connected each other by a guide bar 132 which contacts to an end of the lib 112.
[47] The guide bar 132 guides the lib 112 to slide in a linear direction smoothly.
[48] When the injection is inserted and molded in the incision groove 124 of the second plate 120 to form the rail 130, a part of the rail 130 fills in the chamfer 126 of the incision groove 124 and the guide bar 132 is mounted in the holder portion 122.
[49] The incision groove 124 and the rail 130 are formed with the shape of "D" as shown in the upper of Fig. 4, and the rail 130 is prohibited to move in upper, lower, right, and left direction because the part of the rail 130 is filled in the chamfer 126 where the edge of the incision groove 124. In the other words, the rail 130 fixes in the incision
groove 124 after inserting and molding in a structure. [50] And, the rail keeps a certain thickness by filling the part of the rail 130 in the chamfer 126, thus strengthen is maintained. [51] Hereinafter, the operation of the opening and closing apparatus having the above mentioned structure will describe. [52] The rail 130 is inserted and molded in the second plate 120 to fix, and the lib 112 of the first plate 110 is coupled within the holder portion 122 of the rail 130. And then the rail 130 is contacted to the lib 112 so as to reduce the friction which is created while the lib 112 moves. [53] Moreover, the guide bar 132 which connects to the pair of the rail 130 contacts a step part of the lib 112 so that the lib 112 and the first plate 110 are prohibited to move in right or left side.
Industrial Applicability [54] The present invention is provided to get slim the opening and closing apparatus by applying the thin slide opening and closing apparatus and also the lib is supported stably by strongly fixing the rail.
Claims
[1] A slim type slide opening and closing apparatus comprising: a first plate for forming a lib in both sides of the first plate; and a second plate for forming a holder portion of the second plate; wherein the second plate includes an incision groove which is formed by cutting a part of the holder portion, and a rail with wear resistant property is inserted and molded in the incision groove to directly contact to the lib.
[2] The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein a dug portion is formed in a direction of the lib at the incision groove without being taken off the rail.
[3] The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the rail is mounted in the both sides of the second plate respectively, and the both sides of the rails are connected each other by a guide bar which is contacted to the lib.
[4] The apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second plate comprises the holder portion is formed by twice bending two points including the incision groove after forming the incision groove in a plane shape.
