Abstract

A pharmaceutical carrier contains a spherical particle structure which has a particle hardness of not lower than 200 g/mm2 and comprises at least one magnesium compound selected from magnesium hydroxide and magnesium oxide, is capable of preventing generation of cracks and powderization when a pharmaceutical is produced by coating the surface of a medicament in a fluidized state, and is capable of stably coating the chemically (such as an acid) unstable medicament without additionally performing coating with a basic substance, and further has a high disintegrability (solubility) in the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration as a pharmaceutical.
