Abstract

本発明の表示装置用照明装置１２は、光源１７と、前記光源１７を覆うシャーシ１４と、を備え、前記シャーシ１４は、前記光源１７の直下の一部又は全部において開口部５５を備えることを特徴とする。これにより、装置を肉厚化することなく、簡便な構成でランプの収納部材におけるうなり音の発生を防止ないし抑制可能な構成を備えた表示装置用照明装置を提供することが可能となる。
