Abstract

　電子機器搭載用ラック（１２）には従来の水平搭載空間（１７）に加えて垂直搭載空間（２３）が区画される。垂直搭載空間（２３）は追加のラックマウント機器を収容することができる。電子機器搭載用ラック（１２）はこれまで以上に多くのラックマウント機器を簡単に収容することができる。新たなラックの買い足しは回避される。しかも、垂直搭載空間（２３）ではラックマウント機器は垂直姿勢を確立する。電子機器搭載用ラック（１２）の横幅の増大はできる限り回避される。電子機器搭載用ラック（１２）では、水平搭載空間（１７）の両側面に１対の垂直搭載空間（２３）が隣接すればよい。
