Abstract

Providing access to a media file by providing a media file (60), associating with the media file a first license (40) granting access to the media file (60), associating a second license (20) with the media file (60), responding to a request to access the media file (60) before a predetermined date by delivering the first (40) and second (20) licenses such that access to the media file (60) is granted, and determining the presence of the second license (20) after the predetermined date.
