Abstract

Disclosed is a method for producing a phosphate salt of tetra-n-butylammonium, which comprises: a first step for reacting a halide of tetra-n-butylammonium with a hydroxide of an alkali metal in an organic solvent to produce a hydroxide of tetra-n-butylammonium and a halide of the alkali metal; and a second step for removing the halide of the alkali metal and subjecting the hydroxide of tetra-n-butylammonium and phosphoric acid to the neutralization reaction in an organic solven.
