Abstract

 アウタ部材(14)の有底筒状部(12)の内壁面には、互いに120°離間した3本のトラック溝(22a~22c)が形成されている。これらトラック溝(22a~22c)は、有底筒状部(12)の外周面に沿って延在する方向に設けられた底壁(24)と、該底壁(24)から略垂直に立ち上がって互いに対向する2面の側壁(26、26)とから構成される。この中、側壁(26、26)の近傍には、高周波焼入れが施されることによって、厚みが0.8~3mmの範囲内である焼入れ硬化層(28)が設けられている。一方、底壁(24)に対しては高周波焼入れが施されておらず、このため、該底壁(24)の近傍には、焼入れ硬化層(28)が形成されていない。
