Abstract
Provided are a communication system and an access gateway device capable of performing control according o a QoS while reducing the system traffic amount. An access gateway device (100) transmits a communication packet destined to a destination terminal after establishing an access bearer corresponding to the destination terminal with a base station device containing the destination terminal. The access gateway device (100) includes a packet distribution section (110) for distributing each of the communication packets for each QoS by adding a QoS identifier corresponding to the packet type to each of the communication packets, so that a plurality of communication packets having different QoS can be transmitted by using one access bearer. This can reduce the system traffic amount and perform control in accordance with QoS even if a plurality of communication packets having different QoS are transmitted by using one access bearer.
