Abstract

 本発明は、液体燃料を含有する燃料電池用混合物、その混合物を含む燃料カートリッジ、及び、そのカートリッジを着脱自在に有する燃料電池に関する。 近年の携帯情報機器は、小型化、軽量化、高機能化等が一段と進められており、このような携帯情報機器の発展に伴い、その電源となる超小型発電ユニットとしての、前記燃料電池についても研究が盛んに行われている。前記燃料電池には、モバイル性向上のため、燃料の高濃度化と方向性フリー化が要請されているが、この要請を満たすことが困難であった。 本発明は、前記燃料電池用混合物を、揮発性の液体燃料とこの液体燃料に可溶な高分子物質とを含む、液体部(2)とこの液体部中に分散した微粒子(3)とを有する混合物とすること等によって、前記要請の満足を図ったものである。
