Abstract

The invention relates to a toilet seat, which comprises a device for applying and advancing a tubular protective cover (3) for the seat disposed in the region of a toilet seat (1). This protective cover (3) is rolled off a roll-off roll and rolled onto a drivable roll-up roll (9). Also provided is a housing (8) made of at least one casing (14) and a cover lid (8a), which comprises at least three regions that are at least partially separated from each other, such as a region (17) comprising at least the roll-off roll, a region (18) provided for optionally arranging a drive (11) and optionally a battery compartment (15), and a region (12) comprising at least the roll-up roll (9).
