Abstract

A hollow fibrous structure of a nano size which has silver nanoparticles in inner parts of the structure. A compound of a hydrocarbon group with a peptide chain, preferably a compound of a long-chain hydrocarbon group with a peptide chain, is dissolved in an organic solvent. A silver salt is added to the solution to cause molecules of the compound to gather by themselves and form a silver-ion coordination type hollow fibrous structure of a nano size. Thereafter, a dispersion of the silver-ion coordination type hollow fibrous structure formed is irradiated with ultraviolet to obtain fine hollow fibrous organic nanotubes containing silver nanoclusters.
