Abstract

A sealing device in which gas leakage to a first sealing region in which liquid is sealed is prevented and liquid leakage to a second sealing region in which gas is sealed is more reliably prevented. In the sealing device (50), nitrogen gas leakage to the first sealing region (O) is prevented and oil leakage to the second sealing region (G) is prevented. The shape of the tip of a first seal lip (51) provided on the first sealing region (O) side and the shape of the tip of a second seal lip (52) provided on the second sealing region (G) are formed such that the thickness of an oil film formed at a sliding portion between the first seal lip (51) and the surface of a piston (32) when the former slides on the latter is less than the thickness of an oil film formed at a sliding portion between the second lip (52) and the surface of the piston (32) when the former slides on the latter.
