Abstract

Provided are a supply apparatus for ballast-treated water, which can supply clean ballast water (or ballast-treated water) sterilized in advance to have aquatic lives and bacteria at a predetermined value or less, directly from a sea chest to a ship having no ballast water treating apparatus, and a ballast-treated water supply ship. The supply apparatus is provided for supplying the clean ballast-treated water sterilized to have the aquatic lives and the bacteria at the predetermined value or less, directly to the sea chest of the ship. The supply apparatus is characterized by comprising a supply hose for supplying the ballast-treated water, tight contact means disposed at the leading end of the supply hose for contacting tightly to enclose the opening of the sea chest thereby to provide communication between the inside of the supply hose and the inside of the sea chest, and guide means for guiding the tight contact means in water to the sea chest.
