Abstract

A method and system for creating specifications in the languages used daily by the software development teams of the courtiers in off-shore software development ordered from the foreign courtiers and updating the specifications written in the languages without any inconsistency between the specification made by the development teams. A source file contains source codes and comments which describe their functions in multiple languages and additionally contains function codes representing the functions and language codes representing the kinds of the languages. A source file management system which is a server storing the source files is provided. The server has a function of managing natural languages used daily, a function of machine translation, and a charging function which are functions needed to develop software using source files written in multiple languages and edits comments in the natural languages with no inconsistency for the clients in various countries in the world.
